ARK: Survival Ascended's Summer Bash Returns July 17–August 5

What's in the event

Summer Bash has returned to ARK: Survival Ascended, running from July 17 through August 5, 2026. The event leans into beach-party absurdity: new summer cosmetics include shark-shaped outfits and jellyfish-themed looks, alongside returning items from previous summers.

Base-building gets a seasonal overhaul as well, with inflatable furnishings, dino balloons, and new structure skins added to the pool. Weapon skins are part of the wave too — the source specifically flags heavy firearms, including what sounds like a redecorated Tek Rifle.

Creatures and collectibles

The event's currency is Popsicles, obtained by defeating the Slidy 'N Slippery Kairuku and used to craft Summer Bash items. A newly added Astrocetus skin joins returning skins for creatures including the Ammonite, Cnidaria, Manta, Plesiosaur, Straw Hat Otter, Deal With It Dodo, and others. Craftable items include the Summer Swirl Taffy candy and a set of Fisherman's Trophy wall mounts — Coel, Piranha, and Salmon variants among them.

For players who have been holding off on base decoration, the inflatable furnishing set alone gives settlements a meaningfully different aesthetic palette for the duration of the event.
