The Offering
Keep the cauldron lit.
SteamElixir is free for every wanderer. No paywall. No tiers. Just an oracle, a codex, and the cost of keeping them burning.
Here is how this place works, plainly spoken.
Every answer the oracle gives is distilled fresh from real Steam sources — and every distillation burns real fuel. The Chronicle writes itself daily. The codex grows with every game you look up. Behind the arcana sit very unmagical bills: language models, embeddings, and the vessel it all runs in.
So the bargain is this: sign in through Steam — one click, only your public SteamID, never a password — and everything here is yours. Ten askings of the oracle a day. Track any game. Read everything, always. The limits aren't a paywall; they're how one cauldron serves many cups.
And if the oracle has served you well — found you a patch note, saved you a bad purchase, told you the truth about a game's troubled history — you may leave a tribute. No account. No obligation. No strings. Donations are gifts, not purchases… though the oracle has a long memory for kindness.
What your tribute brews
More askings for everyone
Every tribute raises how much oracle the cauldron can pour each day.
A deeper codex
More games watched, more patch histories kept, more truth on record.
The Chronicle, daily
The self-writing dispatches stay free to read for all — forever.
The offering bowl is still being forged — return soon.
