A focused maintenance update resolves several persistent issues, including a sim-rate power imbalance that had been reported for some time.

Developer Triplejump (publishing as [!!!] Headcrab Wig) has pushed version 1.0.28 of Atomcraft, a small patch addressing two quality-of-life adjustments and three bug fixes.

What changed

Quality of life

  • Middle-mouse-clicking a material already present in the HUD Bar now selects the existing slot rather than assigning a duplicate entry.
  • Walk-Through-Walls Boots now only activate during Jetpack Hover Mode or when using the Jetpack in Impulse Mode, which the developer notes makes bases and platforms more compatible with the boots in Survival Mode.

Bug fixes

  • Saved blueprints and Steam Workshop uploads were not correctly preserving filter settings; filters now restore as intended.
  • Power grid reset rate was not tied to simulation rate, causing power loss at lower sim speeds; generation and usage are now balanced regardless of sim tick rate.
  • The map texture is now cleared on exit to menu, preventing a previous world's map from appearing when loading a different world.

The developer also mentioned ongoing work not yet ready to share, including a savedata migration to a format designed to make manual backups easier, and a forthcoming official Atomcraft wiki that is not yet live.

For players who have encountered the blueprint filter or power grid problems — both described as long-standing reports — this update delivers the fixes without requiring them to wait for a larger release.
