Battlefield 6 Update 1.4.3.5 Fixes Menus, Removes Top Gun Skin Restrictions

Battlefield 6's Update 1.4.3.5 is a smaller maintenance release, available to download across all platforms from 08:00 UTC on Wednesday, September 30.

What changed

Players & Cosmetics

• The Lt. Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw and Lt. Robert "Bob" Floyd character skins have had their class restrictions removed; both can now be used with any NATO class. The change was made in response to community feedback.
• Skin icons for Bob and Rooster no longer display class-specific gadgets.
• Quitting to the main menu at End of Round no longer triggers an endless loading screen.
• A crash that could occur in Spectator mode during large-scale experiences has been resolved.

Weapons

• Scope edge thickness on PS5 now renders at intended values for ten named optics: SU-123, CCO, Ro-M, 2PRO, 3VZR, R4T, 1P86 Variable, 1p88 Variable, NFX, and SSDS.

Maps & Modes

• Two invisible barriers inside a bunker near Objective E on Wake Island have been removed.
• The APHEI Cannon can no longer deal damage to the carrier in the Carrier Strike mode.

UI & HUD

• Backing out of a Battlefield Coins purchase no longer traps navigation away from the purchase button.
• Phantom Program XP Booster rewards now show correct icons at End of Round.
• The minimap now displays correctly in the downed state.

The Top Gun skin unlocking is the most player-facing change here — those who invested in those cosmetics gain meaningful roster flexibility without waiting for a larger update.
