Beetleball Launches with Voice Chat, New Beetle Classes, and a Free Egg Code
Bugfight Studio's Beetleball has formally released, bringing a substantial feature list and a 48-hour launch bonus for early players.
Beetleball, developed by Bugfight Studio, is now available on Steam following what the team describes as an eagerly anticipated wait.
What changed
The launch build introduces a wide range of features across gameplay, progression, and social systems:
- Proximity voice chat for in-match communication
- Quick play queue alongside alternate game modes and custom lobbies
- Two new beetle classes — Atlas Beetle and Bee Beetle — plus reworks to existing classes
- Unlockable beetle classes, profile pictures, and a large cosmetic catalogue, all described as free to unlock
- Quests, leveling, and level-up rewards
- Passive Abilities
- Museum Map
- Hat slots and an in-game shop (noted as still free)
- Quality-of-life improvements across the board
Launch bonus: Players who enter the code ILOVEBEETLEBALL in the in-game shop will receive 10 beetle eggs. The code is valid for 48 hours from release only.
Bugfight Studio has asked players to report bugs via the game's Discord so issues can be addressed quickly, and has encouraged Steam reviews to support the game's visibility.
For players who have been following the project, the launch delivers a notably broad feature set — particularly the free cosmetic progression and proximity voice chat — that positions Beetleball as a socially oriented multiplayer experience from day one.
