Big Bad Pharma V1.0.5 Fixes Audio, Motion Sickness, and Broken Resolution Scale
A focused patch repairs several issues that were quietly degrading the experience since launch.
Version 1.0.5, titled the Catalogue Update, arrives for Big Bad Pharma with a new in-game reference tool and a concentrated round of fixes.
What changed
New feature
- A Catalogue book, opened with TAB, lists every shop product across three sections and 23 categories. Items are sorted alphabetically within each category; a colour-coded tab rail on the edge allows direct jumps, and arrow keys turn pages.
Fixes
- Audio sliders now function in real time. Master, Music, and SFX controls were previously ignored by music, fridge/chiller ambience, and footsteps entirely. Volume settings also no longer reset when the Settings menu is reopened.
- Head bob has been removed. The camera was attached to the character's head bone, producing movement that caused motion sickness; it is now locked to the body.
- Resolution scale is restored. Selecting a quality preset was silently overriding the render resolution, causing a soft, smeary image regardless of manual settings. The Low preset no longer looks worse than Medium.
- An invisible collision block surrounding the toilet base has been removed.
- Shelf capacities now recalculate correctly on load, making a 100% completion figure reachable on saves that were previously stuck below it.
Taken together, the patch addresses several issues significant enough to affect comfort and accessibility — most notably the motion sickness camera and the broken audio system — meaning the game should now behave closer to its intended state for a wider range of players.
