BitCraft Online Overhauls Mining and Fishing in August Patch

BitCraft Online's August 2026 patch delivers a substantial rework of the Mining profession alongside continued changes to Fishing, touching everything from moment-to-moment resource gathering to long-term progression incentives.

What changed

Mining

• Mining quarries for Tiers 1–3 are now in the world as stationary areas. Rocks cycle between normal and glittering states; glittering rocks yield better loot and experience.
• A large quarry rock activates every 30–45 minutes. Fully mining it before the timer expires unlocks a superior node offering higher experience, a chance at braxite and rock chunk drops, and a temporary mining power buff.
• Calcic ore added as a Tier 1 precious metal, acquired through prospecting. It can be used to craft a ring that increases cart speed, with more uses noted as forthcoming.
• New mining ability "Heavy Swing" unlocks at level 5, granting +8 mining power for a moderate duration at a stamina cost — particularly useful for time- or hit-limited resources such as prospecting and quarries.
• Magnetic rocks can now spawn as placeables when mining stone boulders. Collecting one enables a brief prospecting run with high experience and increased ore drops.
• Sift collectors can be placed in water to gather river muck, which is processed at a mining workstation and yields sand with a chance at ore, precious metal nuggets, or other loot.
• Geode cargos no longer drop from boulders or ore veins; instead, geodes pop off rocks as placeables that can be harvested for a gem and experience.

Fishing

• A quest introducing trophy fishing has been added.
• The largest trophy fish of each tier now grants a one-time knowledge unlock that provides stats — incentivizing collection across tiers.

Taken together, the changes give miners and anglers more structured goals and more varied daily routines within BitCraft's gathering systems.
