Black Desert Launches Sea Palace Event and Heidel Ball Hot Time Bonuses

Black Desert's July 23 update introduces two overlapping event structures that run through early August, anchored by a new instanced area and a sweeping set of experience bonuses.

What changed

Sea Palace Adventure (July 23 – Aug 6) opens after completing an entry quest and entering the Swirling Sea. It comprises four distinct activities:

• Treasure Map Washed Ashore — follow a map found at Terrmian Beach to locate hidden treasure
• Stop Baby Vell's Invasion — defeat Baby Vell twice daily for subjugation rewards
• Miss Myo vs Mister Turt — an hourly prediction event where players purchase tickets on a winner
• Bubbly Diving Suit — a perpetually available quest from Dorio that rewards a diving suit

Heidel Ball Hot Time (July 23 – Aug 13) runs three weeks and stacks significant multipliers across core progression systems:

• Combat EXP +1000%
• Skill EXP +400%
• Life EXP (excluding Mount and Trading) +100%
• Item Drop Rate +100%

Heidel Ball Celebration Feast (July 23 – Aug 6) offers a one-time-per-Family claimable reward via the Challenge menu (Y key): five Global Banquet Platter (Combat) items, each granting Combat EXP +500%, Skill EXP +100%, Item Drop Rate +50%, and Monster Damage Reduction +10.

Taken together, the Hot Time bonuses and the claimable platters represent an unusually dense stacking of progression multipliers, making the next two weeks a practical priority for players focused on leveling or farming.
