Cargo, Please!

Cargo, Please! has received its v1.2.0 update, published on 15 August 2026, bringing Steam achievements alongside a focused set of quality-of-life adjustments sourced from community and Discord feedback.

What changed

  • 26 achievements added — veterans may need to redo certain tasks to unlock progress-based ones.
  • Police detection timer reduced from 5 seconds to 3.5 seconds, making evasion harder and behavior more natural.
  • Reverse sound effects added for all Tier 2 and Tier 3 vehicles.
  • Enter/exit from either side now supported on Tier 2 and Tier 3 player vehicles.
  • Garage UI now displays Current Money and Current Level.
  • Monster Hauler price reduced from $3,000 to $2,400.
  • Taxi mode UI updated to reflect passenger pickup and drop-off states more clearly.
  • Phone animations revised.
  • Phase-through-wall bug fixed — players could previously clip through walls when exiting a vehicle beside one.
  • Invisible player character bug in the tutorial resolved.
  • Taxi body lean reduced when driving forward or backward.
  • Mission cap introduced — the Jobs app now limits available missions to a maximum of 7 at once, replacing the previously unlimited generation that could clutter the UI.

Taken together, the patch moves Cargo, Please! toward a more polished moment-to-moment experience: consequences for police encounters are sharper, navigation menus are calmer, and players finally have milestones to chase.
