Cat Gladiator V1.0.5 Reworks Great Sword, Expands Item Bag, Cuts Fish Prices
A focused balance patch reshapes the Great Sword's risk-reward loop, loosens item management, and walks back fish economy values.
Version V1.0.5 arrives as a tightly scoped balance pass for Cat Gladiator, touching weapons, bosses, items, and the fish-selling economy in one sweep.
What changed
Great Sword
- A new Perfect Iron Mountain Charge no longer drains HP on success and instead grants a 5-second Stun Attack Buff.
- Energy costs for certain Great Sword moves have been adjusted.
Bosses
- GiantBear and Bladetail shockwaves now travel along the ground and can be avoided with aerial attacks.
- Terrafist movement speed has been adjusted.
Items
- Item usage can now be interrupted by dodging.
- The Heal Grill heals for a greater amount.
- Unlock materials for HpPotion II have changed.
- The Item Bag can now hold one additional item.
- AtkBBQ and HealBBQ enter cooldown when used in the preparation room.
Economy & UI
- Fish selling prices have been reduced across the board.
- Room list sorting has been optimized, and a swipe shortcut has been added.
Bug fixes address a multi-response invite button, unsaved main volume settings, combat mouse-click failures caused by UI elements, an Item Bag co-op sync issue, the Fishing Rod missing from the leaderboard, and unclickable menu tabs.
The Great Sword changes in particular shift the weapon from a punishing HP gamble toward a more rewarding skill expression — players who land the Perfect Iron Mountain Charge now gain offensive momentum rather than simply avoiding a penalty.
