Coin Tavern's developer zhujian987-b has published patch notes covering three updates shipped after the game's release, bundled under the 1.0.04 label.

What changed

Improvements

  • The new mode now unlocks after the first level instead of the second, lowering the barrier for new players.
  • Once the new mode is unlocked, any difficulty within it is immediately selectable.
  • The Carving Knife relic's effect now activates only when no Totems are present on the field.
  • Dogs have been removed from the Hunter's target list.
  • Difficulty 1's numerical requirements have been slightly increased.
  • Text descriptions for a second batch of gems have been revised.
  • Animated prompts now appear when purchasing taverns in endless mode.
  • Additional interface animations have been added throughout.

Bug fixes

  • A bug allowing Magic Mirror to be copied with a face value not exceeding 100 million has been resolved.
  • An issue causing the current currency value to go negative under large numbers is fixed.
  • The Golden Shovel was triggering too early; that logic error is corrected.
  • Achievements were not registering on clearance runs — now fixed.
  • Excessive character width in Russian and Ukrainian text has been addressed.

The developer also notes that controller support is currently in development, with an expected update the following week.

Taken together, the changes smooth out the opening experience and close off several economy exploits that could distort long runs.
