Craftopia's 6th Anniversary Update Adds Lanterns, Banners, and an Anubis Secret

Pocketpair has pushed an alpha-unstable update to Craftopia marking the game's 6th anniversary. As with all alpha-unstable builds, the studio warns of potential instability, bugs, and specification changes — and advises players to back up save data before participating.

What changed

The update's additions are cosmetic and celebratory:

New equipment (six items)

• Blue, Green, Redd, Yellow, White, and Purple Mono Lanterns

New furniture (seven items)

• Mono Street Light
• Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, White, and Purple Mono Banners

The patch notes also mention that Anubis "seems to be carrying around something special" to mark the anniversary, though the nature of that item is left undescribed.

One caveat worth noting: the new equipment and furniture are listed as available starting in September, meaning players in the alpha-unstable branch now may not have immediate access to every item in this build.

To opt into alpha-unstable, players can switch branches via the Betas tab in Craftopia's Steam library properties.

For players who enjoy decorating their worlds, the Mono series of lanterns and banners represents a tidy palette expansion — though the full picture will only arrive when September rolls around.
