Crimson Desert Patch 1.14.00 Adds Cross-Save, Fixes Combat and Audio Bugs
The update's headline feature lets players carry a single save file across four platforms, while a slate of targeted fixes addresses quest blockers, combat interruptions, and errant sound effects.
Crimson Desert's version 1.14.00 patch, published 16 July 2026, leads with a cross-save system that unifies progress across PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and the Epic Games Store under a single save file.
The Mac version of the patch has not yet arrived — the announcement notes it is "in progress" with no specific timing given.
What changed
New
- Cross-save is now available across PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and Epic Games Store.
Content fixes
- The quest "A Dwarf's Concern" was previously unable to be completed; that is now resolved.
- A bug that stripped player control when a pet jumped onto a bed mid-interaction has been fixed.
Combat / Action
- "Skystep" now shares the same control input as Oongka's "Vertical Flight."
- "Aerial Force Palm" no longer interrupts during free-fall.
Audio
- Sound effects that failed to play after the Praevus the Ancient encounter are restored.
- "Ator's Orb" sound effects no longer persist after the orb disappears.
Other
- Mount movement animations at high speed no longer appear unnatural in certain situations.
- NPCs can now pass through open wooden gates.
- Various localization errors have been corrected across all languages.
For PC players, the cross-save addition is the most substantive change — quest progression, control reliability, and audio polish round out a patch aimed squarely at removing friction from an ongoing playthrough.
