Patch 1.16.00 for Crimson Desert arrives on both Steam (PC) and Steam (Mac) simultaneously, with its heaviest changes concentrated in a single area: trade.
What changed
Trading Posts
- 133 new trading posts added, including the merchant at the Pailune Trading Post; new posts unlock through quest progression.
- Goods types and quantities across all posts have been adjusted.
- Posts that are harder to reach by wagon now yield higher profits.
- Trade good prices now shift dynamically when too many of the same item are sold at one location.
- Overall trading profit has been increased across the board.
- Wagons no longer disappear after delivering goods to a royal trading post.
- Prices at royal trading posts have been quadrupled.
Trade Goods
- 24 new high-value trade goods and 4 new regular trade goods added.
- Packaged goods can now stack up to 10 or 100 per slot depending on price tier.
- Unpackaged inventory items stack up to 5 or 50 per slot.
- A single trade good can now be sold on its own.
- Trade goods can now be moved directly between wagon and horse.
- Losses when retrieving a horse or wagon — or destroying a wagon — have been increased.
Wagon Workshops
- 7 wagon workshops added across Pywel (Hernand, Demeniss, Delesyia, Pailune, Tommaso, Urdavah, Varnia), functioning as intermediate trading posts where goods can be packaged and loaded.
Quality of Life
- Wagon routes now appear on the minimap while riding.
- A new "Trade" tab has been added (details in source were truncated).
Taken together, these changes push trading from a passive side activity toward a system that rewards route planning, risk, and restraint in where and how much one sells.
