Fatshark has begun rolling out Patch 1.13.0 for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide across all platforms, with the 'Depths of the Damned' free update scheduled to go live the same day at 14:00 CEST.

What changed

  • New Story Mini-Campaign — Terrors of the Deep: A three-mission arc with a connected narrative, following the same structure as the prior 'Battle for Tertium' and 'No Man's Land' campaigns. The first two missions take place in existing locations — Consignment Yard and Enclavum Baross.
  • New Mission — Spillway: The third mission drops the Strike Team into a warren of sewers beneath an ancient dam. The objective: clear out the Traitorous Sixth and investigate what is preying on the Ragged King's Water Cartel members.
  • New Boss — The Prophet of Decay: A boss fight unique to Spillway, described as a powerful Psyker of Nurgle and the source of the corruption in the depths.
  • New Weapons: Multiple new weapon families and marks are included; the patch notes specifically name the Krourk Mk IIa Cruncher — an industrial sledgehammer exclusive to Ogryns, emphasising stagger over speed.

For players who have worked through Darktide's existing mission pool, the update offers a self-contained narrative thread, a wholly new environment, and a signature boss encounter to close it out.
