Dungeons & Dragons Online's Update 81.3, released September 16th, 2026, centers on a single major content addition and a broad sweep of bug fixes.

What's new

The expansion pack "Terror of Demogorgon" gains a new raid: Terror of the Demon Lords, rated Legendary CR 37. Players access it through the pack's Gravenhollow public area by speaking to the questgiver "Vision of Future Graz'zt."

What changed

  • Reaper Difficulty Wilderness Adventure Areas now display their Skull Level on entry.
  • Banishing weapons from the Terror of Demogorgon pack have had their HP caps raised.
  • Male Gnomes no longer trigger backflip animations during a simple jump on carpet or cloud mounts.
  • A camera bug affecting Halflings and Gnomes dismounting in water has been resolved.
  • Help panel support links now open in the system web browser, enabling full captcha support; a confirmation dialog precedes the redirect.
  • Hold for Reinforcements quest spawns now arrive at a faster pace with adjusted monster counts per interval.
  • In Relentless, the doors between the courtyard and the Helmed Horror's room open correctly once the Juggernaut dies.
  • Stop Hazadil's Shipment no longer incorrectly instructs players to destroy Cages instead of Crates.
  • Soul Armor in the Duergar racial tree grants the correct amount of Force Absorption and has an improved tooltip.
  • The Song version of Freedom of Movement is no longer removed by Dispel Magic or Antimagic.
  • Chests without ransack now accurately state they don't ransack, rather than claiming the timer resets in 80 years.
  • Several tooltip, icon, and dialogue typos have been corrected across the game.

For players working through the Demogorgon expansion, the raid's arrival completes a meaningful content gap while the bug fixes address persistent friction points across multiple systems.
