Denshattack! Launches on PC and Consoles With 60+ Levels Across Japan
Pixel Chise's gravity-defying train-trick game arrives across four platforms, offering a sprawling tour of a domed, dystopian Japan.
Denshattack! is now available on PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, according to a launch announcement from developer Pixel Chise published on 15 July 2026.
The game casts players as a crew of rebels fighting back against the Miraidō Corporation, which has sealed Japan's cities under domes. Mechanically, it centres on chaining tricks and combos aboard a customisable, physics-defying train across a range of environments — skyscrapers in Osaka, neon streets in Tokyo, meadows, volcanoes, and oceans among them.
What's in the launch build
- 30+ trains, each described as having unique pros and cons
- Over 60 levels spread across 8 regions and 46 prefectures — from Kyushu to Hokkaido
- Multiple secondary challenges and medals per level
- Boss battles, including mecha magical girls, moving castles, and mechanical worms
- Races against rivals
- Relaxing Onsen areas
- Stickers, customisation options, and influencer and creator skins
- A roster of main characters and crew members
The announcement notes that each new region "rewrites the rules," and that rivals can eventually be converted into allies — suggesting a progression system tied to the game's gang-respect mechanic.
For players drawn to score-chasing action across a densely populated map of content, Denshattack! appears to have arrived as a feature-complete release rather than an early-access rollout.
