E-Shop Tycoon 1.1.0 Adds Difficulty Modes, Robots, and Mac Support
A balance-and-systems patch reshapes how the tycoon sim handles competition, warehouse logistics, and platform access.
The first post-launch content update for E-Shop Tycoon arrives focused on infrastructure over spectacle — the developer's own framing — but the changes touch enough core systems to matter.
What changed
Difficulty and leaderboards
- Four difficulty tiers are now available: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Ironman.
- Completing the game on Ironman unlocks a new achievement.
- Leaderboards have been reset and are now separated by difficulty.
Departments
- A new Accounting Department automatically handles taxes and reduces costs.
- The Stock Manager has been reworked; players can now set order thresholds for individual products.
Warehouse
- Robots can now be deployed in the warehouse, described as faster and more efficient than human workers at stocking products.
- Storage workers received pathfinding and behavior improvements.
- Workers can no longer walk through objects or access storage units blocked on both sides; a red indicator flags inaccessible units.
Controls and platform
- Custom key-binding is now available through the settings menu.
- Mac support has been added.
The team notes that larger content updates are in development but cannot commit to a timeline. For players already in the game, the leaderboard reset and new difficulty structure are the most immediate reasons to return — the competitive slate is effectively wiped clean.
