Ecrazeus Castle

The v210 update for Ecrazeus Castle, published 29 August 2026 by developer Meringue Rouge, delivers a substantial rework of the game's Boss Rush minigame — a mode locked behind a secret called Wizampire Dreams. The developer is clear: this is not added content, but a revision of what already existed.

What changed

  • Online leaderboards are now implemented, ranking players by clear time; submission requires defeating all bosses. Normal and EX Boss Rush maintain separate rankings, and leaderboards are accessible from the main menu.
  • Attack power-ups now spawn between rounds, and currency rewards increase after each round.
  • Shop inventory adjusted: some weapons removed, others added to the mode.
  • Boss starting health reduced across the board — minor in the standard game, but meaningful in Boss Rush's tighter conditions.
  • Power-up dropping items now grant more upgrades.
  • Soyoat removed from the store.
  • Shop area lighting changes between boss fights.
  • Bug fixed where the NPC gating EX Boss Rush entry was rendered visible even when unlock conditions weren't met.
  • Bug fixed in the Castle's Squatter boss fight that blocked most attacks from spawning in EX Boss Rush.
  • Zodiac effects no longer appear on weapons purchased in this mode.

One caveat: the main menu leaderboard will return an error until a player completes and uploads an EX Boss Rush run — a gap the developer openly acknowledges, noting that only approximately 0.7% of players have unlocked the mode at all.

For that small fraction who have cracked the game's harder secrets, this update gives their runs a competitive record to chase.
