Foxhole Update 65 Adds World AA Guns, Air Sirens, and Unified Radio Intel

Foxhole's Update 65 arrives as the first release under a newly announced six-week development cadence — a deliberate shift toward rapid iteration on the Airborne expansion's features, with a focus on balance and quality of life.

What changed

New structures and equipment:

• Anti-Aircraft Guns appear as AI world structures at a limited set of rear-line airfields and towns. They illuminate targets with a spotlight, fire three warning shots, then engage with accurate fire — prioritising bombers when multiple aircraft are in range.
• Southern Theme Coastal Guns have been added to southern logistics towns to match their distinct architectural style.
• Air Sirens are neutral tripod items that emit an audible alert whenever a non-scout enemy aircraft enters within 500 metres — intended to prompt frontline soldiers to seek cover or man AA positions.
• Torpedo Nets can now be deployed by Mine Boats, blocking small ship movement and detonating torpedoes on contact. They are fragile and can be destroyed by machine gun fire or by ramming from Large Ships.

New features:

• Field Machine Guns gain an AA mode for engaging low-flying aircraft.
• Bomber Aircraft now carry a distinct intel icon on the map.
• Radio overhaul: The dedicated Aircraft Radio has been removed. All Radios now provide both Ground and Air Intel. Aircraft Intel detection is limited to Observation Bunkers and Large Radar Installations — a change explicitly aimed at raising the strategic value of Aerial Interceptor Arrays and making it easier for fighters to respond to bomber raids.

Taken together, the update builds out a layered air-defence ecosystem, giving players more tools — and more warning — before bombers arrive.
