Gloria Victis Merges Servers and Opens Season of War
A regional server consolidation and the start of a new Glory Season reshape the competitive landscape for the medieval MMORPG's playerbase.

A maintenance window on July 30 brought two significant changes to Gloria Victis: Medieval MMORPG simultaneously: the start of a new Glory Season and the completion of a regional server merge.
What changed
Server merge
- Servers within each region have been consolidated into a single regional server per region.
- Open-world crafting workshops were removed; stored resources were transferred to the Auction House for players to retrieve.
- Guild Islands and Guilds were carried over to the destination server.
- The developers state optimizations are in place to support a larger player population without degrading performance, and additional regional servers can be deployed if needed.
Season of War (Glory Season)
- Glory Seasons are approximately two-month competitive cycles built around Faction vs Faction vs Faction PvP.
- Top-ranked players at season's end earn unique titles and gold rewards based on final standings.
- Every Thursday, players receive Contribution Points based on their ranking, redeemable at Glory Quartermasters for special items.
- Character progression — equipment, levels, professions, guild progress — is never reset between seasons; only the seasonal rankings reset.
For existing players, the merge is the more immediately consequential change: fewer, fuller servers should mean denser territories and more contested PvP, which is precisely the environment a Season of War is designed to reward.
