GRAIN ROT

Developer Narovana has shipped Patch 1.11 for Grain Rot, addressing a long list of physics, collision, and progression issues alongside a new hostile addition.

What changed

New content

  • A new enemy — the "Corrupted Builder" — has been added.
  • Item slot hooks are now present on the expedition elevator.
  • A new loot spot has been added in the bathroom in Withered Manor.

Fixes and improvements

  • The flashlight is now positioned correctly on small vessels.
  • Loot cabinets and chests can no longer push characters through geometry.
  • Elevator stability during descent has been improved, reducing problems for characters and objects inside.
  • Unstuck logic added for exiting a chair or bed, and for possessing a character with the spark.
  • The dungeon shop no longer spawns only gumballs; coin insertion into the gumball machine is also now capped correctly.
  • Outpost doors no longer remain interactable after being broken.
  • The player's arms no longer stay extended briefly after an object is destroyed.
  • Small vessels now spawn at the correct frequency and no longer appear on the floor.
  • Characters are no longer flung across a room after a dungeon run.
  • Server profile cosmetics are preserved when restarting an expedition.
  • The furnace heat bonus now calculates correctly after loading a save.
  • The train and ball trap can no longer knock the spark out of the map.
  • The dungeon map texture no longer repeats.
  • Collision issues at the top of the Basement Stairs and environment holes in Rainbow Wards, the Expedition floor, and ice caves have been resolved.

Taken together, the patch should make expeditions meaningfully more stable — fewer lost runs to geometry, broken doors, or a loot shop stubbornly dispensing gum.
