Horingar: Darkside 1.2.0 Fixes Mana System, Adds Linux Test Build
A native Linux version enters private beta testing while the main build addresses several gameplay and collision bugs.
Developer XforU_Dev has released Update 1.2.0 for Horingar: Darkside, pairing a batch of bug fixes with a notable infrastructure expansion: a native Linux build is now available for private testing.
Linux Test Build
The Linux version is currently held at Patch 1.1.0 while it undergoes separate testing. The developer reports stable performance on an Ubuntu virtual machine but has not yet tested it on Steam Deck. Players with a Linux system or Steam Deck can access the build through Steam's beta opt-in system using the private code linuxtesting. The developer states the build will be updated to the latest patch and added to the store page once testing concludes.
What Changed in 1.2.0
- Fixed Denver's Gallery Scene 3, which was not working correctly
- Fixed a Torch collision issue in the camp
- Fixed Mana regeneration for Nature Weapons
- Changed Mana regeneration from a flat value to a percentage-based system
- Resolved several additional minor bugs
The shift from flat to percentage-based Mana regeneration is the most mechanically significant change here, as it affects scaling across different character or equipment states rather than applying a single fixed number. Players using Nature Weapons in particular should notice the correction now that their regeneration functions as intended.
For most players on Windows, the fixes are available immediately; Linux players willing to help test should expect a build one patch behind the current state.
