Horse Magnifier v1.1.0 Patches RTL Language Bug, Rebalances Achievement Timers

A small but considered update addresses an accessibility-adjacent bug and loosens the grip on two of the game's timed achievements.

Horse Magnifier: The Full Horse

Developer wer8888 has shipped version 1.1.0 of Horse Magnifier: The Full Horse, a patch focused on fixes and modest quality-of-life additions rather than new content.

The most substantive correction targets players whose system language is set to a right-to-left script — a bug that, the developer notes with characteristic candor, "I think" prevented the game from running properly for that group. The hedge is honest; the fix is present regardless.

What changed

  • RTL language fix: machines with a right-to-left system language should now be able to play the game correctly
  • Hint highlighting: the active magnifier is now visually highlighted when hints reference it
  • Pause menu: the current level number is now displayed there
  • Horse Speedrunner achievement: required time increased from 2 seconds to 3 seconds
  • Horse Admirer achievement: required time increased from 3 minutes to 5 minutes
  • Achievement clarification: a "standard level" for Horse Perfector, Speedrunner, and Admirer is defined as any level with an accuracy meter; for Speedrunner, the timer begins when the level starts falling, and magnifiers can be grabbed during that descent
  • Miscellaneous additional fixes

The relaxed thresholds for both timed achievements suggest the original targets were proving stricter than intended in practice. For players who stalled out on either, the path is now measurably wider — and the rules governing it are, at last, written down in the patch notes.

Bug reports can be sent to the developer directly by email at the address listed in the announcement.
