Hozy Patch 1.2.1 Fixes Rug Physics, Save Progress, and a Stray Paintbrush
A targeted bug-fix patch addresses three player-reported issues, including a save-state failure that could silently erase completed level progress.
Developer tinyXsarion has released Patch 1.2.1 for Hozy, a small corrective update focused on bugs surfaced by the community since the last major update cycle.
What changed
- Rug physics on the first level — Rugs in Hozy follow special placement rules that let them sit beneath furniture and be stored rolled up. After a physics update introduced for Sandbox Mode, that logic was not correctly applied to the first level, causing rugs to fall through other objects on save load. The fix brings the first level in line with the updated system.
- Dream level paintbrush — The paintbrush was not returning to the paint bucket due to an incorrect configuration value, which has now been corrected.
- Completed level progress not saving — If a player finished a level but exited via the Exit button rather than the Finish button, progress could fail to save entirely. Both exit paths now trigger a proper save.
The patch notes mention that larger updates are still in progress. For players who may have lost completed-level records due to the save bug, this fix closes what was a quiet but consequential gap in the game's progression logic.
