Kitty Burger v1.1.1 Fixes Softlocks, Polishes Localization, Reshapes Shop Access
Easy Clap Games' first notable post-launch patch addresses progression blockers, three-language text quality, and a retroactive costume unlock for veteran players.
Easy Clap Games has released version 1.1.1 for Kitty Burger, a patch oriented around stability, localization polish, and a quiet structural change to when players can spend in the shop.
What changed
Localization
- Spanish (Castilian), French, and Italian translations revised for more natural wording and internal consistency
- Various localization bugs fixed across all three languages
Fixes
- Resolved a softlock in which the shutter could remain closed and leave the game unresponsive after rapid button presses
- Fixed interrupted scene transitions blocking all subsequent transitions for the remainder of a session
- Fixed a freeze that could occur when closing the pause menu mid-animation
- The pause menu no longer intercepts clicks while fading out; resuming the game is now instant
Retroactive unlock
- Players who earned the 100 Burgers achievement before the secret costume system existed were not receiving the Burger Costume. It will now unlock automatically upon preparing the next burger
Shop
- The shop is locked during Day 1 and becomes available from Day 2 onward
Other
- Two new names added to the Honor List on the main menu
The most consequential fix for returning players is likely the retroactive Burger Costume unlock — a small but telling sign that the team is actively reconciling saves made before key systems were in place.
