Last Epoch's 1.5.1 update, published October 2, 2026, is a bug-fix patch with no listed new content — but several of its corrections carry real mechanical weight.

What changed

Skills & Passives

  • Dreamslash no longer risks trapping the player inside Yrun, Champion of Morditas.
  • Cooldown abilities cast near 0 mana will now fire correctly rather than going on cooldown without activating.

Campaign & Monolith

  • Time rift campaign scenes will no longer cause players to miss a region waypoint and backtrack.
  • Pinnacle Morditas is now accessible to Legacy and Offline characters.
  • A flickering light on first entry to the Demigod's Ascendance scene is resolved.

Factions

  • The Circle of Fortune's Lens of Tyranny has been reworked: it now delivers a consistent 2× base charge rate with no banked favor, and consumes banked favor at 10% of the incoming rate to reach 2.1× — a significant clarification over its previously inconsistent behavior. Its description has been corrected to match.
  • Circle of Fortune Rank 3 will now correctly produce omen idols rather than regular idols on omen idol drops.
  • Merchant's Guild price-lowering inputs are easier to use with a gamepad.

UI & Other

  • Escape key now reliably closes all open panels.
  • Bonus Stability display on echo re-entry is fixed.
  • Clicking a quest now correctly shifts the map focus to the target location.
  • The Monstrous Rage bloodrage buff minion explosion now triggers consistently.
  • Rage of Morditas rewards and Portents of Blood corrupted items can no longer appear pre-ruined.

For Circle of Fortune players especially, the Lens of Tyranny correction moves the mechanic from opaque and inconsistent to predictable — a meaningful quality-of-life gain.
