Legacy of Defense Exits Early Access with Android Port, Three New Heroes, and Story Cutscene

Legacy of Defense has left Early Access after eleven months, with developer Enter the Game shipping its full release on 2026-08-14. The launch is paired with a substantial content update rather than a quiet version bump.

What changed

Android release The game is now available on Android. Controls and UI have been reworked for touch devices; the Android version carries the same content as the PC release.

DLC — three new characters Three heroes arrive as DLC, each with a distinct playstyle and its own mastery tree:

• Ice Wizard — a control mage who freezes enemies; defeating a frozen enemy triggers an ice explosion at its position, and basic-attacking one calls down an icicle strike. Masteries unlock the 3rd and 4th skills and raise each skill's starting level.
• Tamer — a summoner who commands an army rather than fighting directly. All summons gain 15% reduced attack cooldown; summon damage increases 10% per stage (up to 70%). A new Totem skill can push summon damage further.
• Shieldman — a tank who converts shield accumulation into offensive power. Block stacks up to 8 times; every 1,000 shield generated grants +1 Block stack; 10% of shield is retained after a round ends.

Story — opening cutscene A Stage 1 intro cutscene now plays when starting a new game, depicting the incident that precedes the game's events and establishing why the player is fighting.

For players who followed the Early Access build, the 1.0 release represents a more complete narrative entry point alongside meaningfully different hero options that expand the game's build space.
