Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls Open Beta Runs July 24–26 with 15 Characters

The open beta for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls runs for 72 hours beginning July 24 at 12:00 am PT (8:00 am BST / 4:00 pm JST) and closing July 26 at 11:59 pm PT. No registration is required — players can download directly from their platform store, with pre-downloads available two hours before servers open.
PC players will need an internet connection and a PlayStation account to access the beta. A PlayStation Plus subscription is not required.
What's in the beta
- 15 of the game's 20 launch characters are playable, organized into four in-universe factions: Fighting Avengers, Unbreakable X-Men, Amazing Guardians, and Samurai Outriders
- Blade makes his playable debut — the source notes this is his first time available to players
- The roster includes Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther, Storm, Magik, Wolverine, Danger, Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, Peni Parker, Ghost Rider, Doctor Doom, and Magneto
- Six stages drawn from Marvel locations: Marvel's New York (Day and Night), Savage Land, X-Mansion, Knowhere, and Wakanda
- Online Casual and Ranked Matches, plus local Versus Mode against CPU opponents
- An Open Lobby hub with 16 avatars (each in four color variations), free chat, preset messages, stamps, and emotes
