MINERALS: Deep Core Mining

Version 1.3.0 of MINERALS: Deep Core Mining arrives with a cluster of changes aimed squarely at reducing friction in mid-to-late run management.

What changed

Gameplay

  • Nine new Batch Operation Technologies (★2 through ★10) now allow resources to be added to multiple SMELTER & POLISHER facilities at once, with distribution calculated against expected resource amounts.
  • Five new Banish Technologies (★6 through ★10) let players remove an unwanted option from the level-up selection pool; banished abilities will not reappear for the remainder of that run.
  • Mineral Sonar markers now show the distance to each detected Fine Mineral.

Display

  • Upgrade and Technology icons have been reshaped for clarity: squares denote Upgrades, circles mark SMELTER & POLISHER Technologies, and octagons cover Run-related Technologies.
  • The progress bar display for SMELTER & POLISHER facilities at maximum speed has been adjusted.

Bug fixes

  • Mouse wheel scrolling on the SMELTER & POLISHER screen could intermittently fail — now resolved.
  • Certain achievements with large condition values could fail to unlock — also resolved.
  • Additional minor fixes are included.

Together, the Batch Operation and Banish additions address two recurring pain points: the tedium of feeding multiple processing facilities individually, and the helplessness of repeatedly seeing unwanted abilities during level-ups.
