MyBiz: Pomodoro Desk Tycoon v1.1.0 Overhauls Saves, Adds Guided Onboarding
A structural update separates save data by Steam account and walks new players through the game's core loop for the first time.
Bizpro Games has pushed version 1.1.0 of MyBiz: Pomodoro Desk Tycoon, a patch that touches onboarding, save architecture, Steam integration, and a handful of fixes accumulated since launch.
What changed
New & improved
- A guided setup now walks first-time players through each foundational step: buying a desk, hiring from the CV panel, seating a staffer, running a focus session, collecting payroll and coins, and taking a break. Returning players are not interrupted.
- Save data is now stored per Steam account, so multiple users on a shared PC no longer overwrite each other's progress. Existing saves are migrated automatically on first launch after the update.
- The game now launches through Steam rather than directly, enabling the standard "In-Game" status visible to friends; the "Open on startup" option routes through Steam accordingly.
- The Online World feature now requires a Steam sign-in.
- A single-instance guard prevents two copies of the game from running simultaneously, protecting saves from write conflicts.
Fixed
- Skin tone labels "Medium" and "Dark" were swapped in character customization — sprites and labels now correspond correctly.
- A crash on brand-new profiles caused by window centering has been resolved.
- Tutorial text incorrectly instructed players to drag staff onto desks; the wording now reflects the actual click-to-assign mechanic.
For anyone playing on a household PC, the per-account save separation is the most consequential change — progress that was previously at risk of collision is now cleanly isolated.
