Once Human Adds Live Cooldown Checking for High Risk Events
A community-requested quality-of-life feature is now live, letting players inspect event reward cooldowns before committing to a trip.
The sixth edition of Once Human's Meta Hotline series — a recurring dispatch drawn from the game's community Feedback Platform — confirms that at least one top-charted player request has already been implemented following the v2.3.7 update.
What changed
- High Risk Event cooldown visibility is now live. From the Map interface, players can left-click the "Eye" icon next to any High Risk Event to view the cooldown status of that event's rewards.
- A pre-teleport warning pop-up now appears when a High Risk Event is on cooldown, allowing players to confirm the status before fast-travelling and adjust their route accordingly.
The broader context here is structural: after v2.3.7, the development team introduced a Feedback Hot Charts section to the Once Human Feedback Platform. Players can log in to like or dislike submitted feedback, and the chart updates in real time. With each version cycle, the team publishes a new Meta Hotline post addressing the previous cycle's top-charted requests and outlining progress made.
The team notes that if the cooldown check entry feels unclear or fails to surface information in certain scenarios, further feedback is still welcome through the platform.
For players who have lost time teleporting into cooldown-locked events, the change removes a small but persistent source of wasted travel — and the Feedback Hot Charts mechanism suggests similar targeted fixes may follow in subsequent cycles.
