Once Human Adds Two Weapons and New Armor in July 9 Update
The 2nd Anniversary update brings distinct new combat tools with layered mechanics — one free at login, one locked behind Blueprints.

What changed
Following the version update on July 9 (PT), Once Human introduces two new weapons and new armor pieces as part of its 2nd Anniversary celebration. The additions apply to all scenario servers except RaidZones, which will receive a separate announcement.
New Weapons
- QBJ97 – Fiery Trees and Silver Flowers: A weapon built around an escalating missile system. Hits can apply Unstable Bomber; sustained fire increases the chance of launching a missile, which can also apply Unstable Bomber. Missile explosions build stacks of a stability buff (max 5), reducing recoil and lens shake. At full stacks, bullet and missile Unstable Bomber trigger chances increase further. Available as an Anniversary event reward — players can claim it by signing in after the update.
- SN700 – Finale: A precision-oriented weapon where weakspot hits guarantee Shrapnel triggers. Shrapnel builds stacks that expand the number of body parts Shrapnel hits and reduce recoil. The final bullet in a magazine deals increased damage based on current stack count. Stacks clear on reload or weapon switch. Obtained through the Blueprints system.
New Armor
- Wind Interpreter Cap: When a specific effect explodes, automatically loads 1 bullet; grants +25% to a damage rate tied to that effect.
- Ankh Mask: Source material was truncated; full details were not available.
For players building around status effects and sustained-fire loops, the QBJ97 and Finale offer meaningfully different mechanical identities — one rewards continuous fire, the other punishes reloading.
