Overtrick's First Patch Adds Two New Rivals and Fixes Steam Deck Card Trading

Overtrick's post-launch honeymoon ends quickly: the House of Spades has arrived. Leopold and Reginald — proprietors of that establishment — are now opponents in the Hearts Tourney, with their appearance in the Clubhouse coming next week. Developer achiyalabopa notes their designs draw from era photographs rather than the 1920s fashion prints that inspired most other characters, though the same period style was preserved.

What changed

• Steam Deck / gamepad fix for Swap: Players were previously unable to trade more than one card from each hand; this is now resolved.
• Mirror Mirror update: The selected card is now easier to identify on Steam Deck and gamepad.
• Windowed mode: A Display Mode option in the settings menu lets players toggle between fullscreen and windowed.
• Volume sliders: Sliders no longer respond to mouse scroll, preventing accidental volume changes while navigating the menu.
• Background visual effects toggle: The shimmer effect in the Shop and Overtrick Mode can now be disabled in options.
• Reward card stamps: Cards guaranteeing the 8 and 9 of a suit ("Hidden Gems," "Super Spades," "Clubs are Wild," "Hearts in Harmony") should almost never appear as Slam rewards when a player already owns them.
• Demo achievements: An issue that permanently locked certain achievements for heavy demo players after purchasing the full game has been addressed.

For players who had already cleared Ada and Zelda, Leopold and Reginald represent the next meaningful test — and the patch ensures the road there is considerably less bumpy.
