Pocketpair has released Palworld version v1.0.2, billing it as a round of bug fixes and gameplay stability improvements.
What changed
Crashes and disconnections
- Fixed two dedicated-server issues during the Panthalus battle: one that could disconnect all players, and one that could crash the game outright.
- Fixed a crash triggered by Japanese text input in fullscreen mode.
Multiplayer
- Fixed terrain failing to display correctly for the host when a guest was already present in The World Tree area during the host's transition there.
- Fixed Tower Boss "Victor & Shadowbeak" vanishing after a teleportation attack.
- Fixed a lighting issue in the final boss battle where a respawning guest's light could fail to render if the host defeated the boss while they were waiting to respawn.
Missions
- Fixed screens remaining faded out when dialogue was interrupted mid-fade in both the main mission "The First Islander" and the sub-mission "Captured Adventurer".
Achievements
- Fixed the "Predator Hunter" achievement failing to unlock after its requirements were met.
- Fixed a Pal Effigy-related achievement failing to unlock after the required Effigies were obtained.
- Fixed two Lifmunk Effigy achievement icons on Xbox displaying outdated artwork.
Graphics and controls
- Fixed incorrect rendering of the player model's eye area during cutscenes and certain actions on specific face types.
- Added key rebinding support for "Attack that enemy!" and "Inventory".
For players who have been stalled by a stubborn achievement or derailed by a server crash mid-boss fight, this update should clear the most disruptive blockers in the game's current state.
