Paralives 0.1.6 Overhauls Vacation Days and Squashes Crash Bugs

Paralives version 0.1.6, published July 16 2026, arrives with one headline system change and a long tail of fixes that suggest the early-access life-sim is being shaped by active playtesting.

What changed

Vacation Days — revamped Paras now begin a new job already holding vacation days, accumulate more while working, and can request days off or paid leave by phone. The Storyteller setting affects how this system behaves, adding some variance to different playthroughs.

Smaller additions

• New sit-down and stand-up animations for long chairs
• Mirror rendering corrected so Paras appear in reflections properly
• The "Ask if Single" interaction no longer counts a Romantic Interest as a relationship
• Hitting personality level 12 — the confirmed maximum — now changes the level indicator's color and stops experience gain
• Each household can now be heard on the tutorial train

Bug fixes of note

• Stacking certain items could crash the game; that path is now closed
• Bulldozing lots no longer causes a momentary freeze
• A Para could, under specific conditions, propose to themselves via Together Cards — fixed
• Children were gaining wrinkles when aging up from the toddler stage — fixed
• Mac players can now add custom images alongside other platforms
• Giant mushroom pasta (an unintended scaling issue) has been normalized
• Story card notifications and associated wants now save and reload correctly
• Two story cards — "You Have Many Plans for Tomorrow" and "Make 200 Paradimes" — behave more accurately
