Pax Dei R47 Brings Archery Overhaul, 300 Achievements, and Clan Permission Tiers

The R47 content patch for Pax Dei, published July 6 2026, arrives with substantive changes across archery, progression, and clan management rather than isolated tweaks.

Archery & Hunting

• Archery gameplay, balancing, and animations have been reworked from the ground up
• Recurve Bows added; bow progression and visual models updated
• Bows now require Bow Strings as a crafting component
• The Fletching profession has been refactored with new recipes
• Arrow progression and balance reworked
• New huntable bird species added

Achievements

• A full Achievement system introduced with nearly 300 achievements
• Includes a Journal Achievement page, a HUD Milestone Tracker, and claimable rewards
• Progress is shared across all characters within the same region

Permissions

• New Homesteader clan membership rank added
• New Villager & Up permission level added
• Homesteaders cannot destroy building pieces placed more than 36 hours ago on clan-shared plots

World & Building

• Ceremonial bonfire, hunting trophies, and functional wall-mounted and freestanding Archery Targets added

Balance & Fixes

• Garlic yield raised from 3 to 5; Bronze Ingot recipe reduced from 100 to 60 Charcoal
• Adult Birch Trees now have hardness 1 (down from 2), making them fellable with a Bronze Axe
• Straw recipe now uses Reeds instead of Flax
• Flint now spawns near the Petra Dei; spawn range from water expanded by 10 meters
• All furnishing pieces removed from the Log Workbench and redistributed to more relevant stations
