Petunia's Purgatory

Dead Possum Games has released Version 1.1.0 for Petunia's Purgatory, titled the Automation Update, focused on reducing repetitive farm management tasks.

What changed

Auto Planting & Animal Bait — the headline feature, unlocked at level 13:

  • Clicking a planted field and selecting the crop icon instructs harvest sprites to automatically replant that crop type after each harvest; the behaviour can be toggled off.
  • Animal bait buildings now have an Auto Refill toggle that directs blood sprites to restock them without manual intervention.

Bug fixes and improvements included in the patch:

  • Crop growth timers are now visible in minutes
  • Fixed incorrect upgrade display on blood sprites
  • Sprite logic for watering crops and using crafting buildings has been made more efficient
  • Automatic corrupted save recovery has been added
  • Auto-save stuttering has been dramatically reduced
  • Panning the camera no longer deselects an active building
  • Fixed a playtime stat that rolled over incorrectly after 24 hours

For players who have reached level 13, the automation systems remove two of the more routine maintenance loops, while the save-recovery addition addresses a data-integrity concern that could surface without warning.
