Phasmophobia v0.18.0.0 Reworks 13 Willow Street and Adds New Ghost

Kinetic Games has shipped Phasmophobia v0.18.0.0, authored by Tom Dent and published 21 July 2026. The headline addition is a reworked 13 Willow Street — the map retains its original layout but receives new assets, props, and repurposed rooms, with several areas edited to improve flow.

A new ghost type, the Deildegast, joins the roster. The developers note players will encounter it at a higher rate in contracts for the first few weeks after release.

What changed

• Equipment keybinds: PC players can now switch equipment using the 1, 2, 3, and 4 keys; all are rebindable. Controller and VR players are not mentioned as recipients of this feature.
• Watch keybind: A dedicated key to inspect the Watch at any time — defaulting to H on keyboard and Left DPAD on controller — can be rebound via Options > Controls.
• EMF Level 5 photos: A separate photograph can now be taken specifically capturing an EMF Level 5 reading.
• Photo Camera highlight frame: Photo Cameras now share the highlight-frame visual from Video Cameras; the on-screen indicator is limited to Tier 2 and Tier 3 models, while Tier 1 cameras show a colour change from red to green.
• Media capture priority: When multiple pieces of evidence are present, the game will prioritise whichever provides the largest reward or is flagged as Unique.
• Character animations: New walking and turning animations replace procedural IK on legs, eliminating item wobble caused by held objects moving during movement.
• VR improvements: New character animations, belt usability improvements, and instant turning based on look direction rather than set angles.

Taken together, the update addresses long-standing friction points in both movement fidelity and evidence capture, making routine contract work measurably cleaner.
