Kinetic Games has shipped Phasmophobia v0.19.0.1, a corrective patch authored by Tom Dent and addressed to issues surfaced after the most recent Quality of Life update.

What changed

New additions

  • A VR Belt Offset option lets players raise or lower the belt height.
  • Prison Entrance receives additional props and fingerprint interactions to aid ghost identification.

VR hand position adjustments Hand positioning has been revised for more comfortable holds on the Tier 1 D.O.T.S Projector, all tiers of Flashlights, Photo Cameras, and Video Cameras. Further equipment will follow in later updates.

Bug fixes

  • Several cosmetic items that obscured the Watch are corrected. The Female Hooded Denim jacket still overlaps slightly and will be addressed separately.
  • Achievements on custom difficulties with a multiplier of zero were not being awarded; this is resolved.
  • The 'I Wish For Knowledge' Monkey Paw wish was incorrectly crossing out valid evidence — fixed.
  • Opening the Journal mid-Ouija Board session broke animations and interactions — fixed.
  • Other players could not retrieve a Video Camera from a Tripod placed by a different player — fixed.
  • Nell's Diner safe opening was broken — fixed (note: the source text is truncated here).

Looking ahead, the studio notes a Unity 6 transition arriving in November — shifted from an original October target — and confirms the Crimson Eye event remains on the October schedule. A Development Preview covering both topics is forthcoming.

For VR players in particular, the hand-position refinements and the new belt offset option represent a tangible comfort improvement without any broader mechanical disruption.
