PUBG Global Series 7 Final Stage Underway in Shanghai

The PUBG Global Series has relocated from Seoul to Shanghai, China, where Circuit 3 runs August 5–23, 2026. The circuit encompasses three separate series — PGS 7, PGS 8, and PGS 9 — and opens the second half of the 2026 PGS season.

The stakes are structurally higher from this point forward: every series in Circuits 3 and 4 awards twice as many PGS Points as those held in the first half of the season, accelerating the race toward PGC 2026.

Circuit 3 at a glance

PGS 7 format

All 24 teams entered a Group Stage divided into Groups A, B, and C, playing nine total matches with each team competing in six. The top 16 advanced to the Winners Stage; the bottom 8 dropped to Survival. From the Winners Stage, the top 8 secured direct Final Stage berths along with Advantage Points, while the remaining 8 joined 8 Survival Stage graduates. The bottom 8 of the Survival Stage were eliminated. Sixteen teams now compete across 10 matches over two Final Stage days — August 8 and 9 — to settle PGS 7 standings.

With prize money weighted heavily toward PGS 9 ($300,000) and double points on the line across all three series, Circuit 3 represents the most consequential stretch of competitive PUBG in the 2026 calendar.
