Rogue Trader's Processional of the Damned DLC Pushed to December 2026

The Processional of the Damned expansion for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader will not arrive in September as originally intended. Developer Owlcat Games, writing under the author name Starrok, has moved the release window to December 2026, stating the expansion is not yet ready to meet the quality bar they consider acceptable.

What changed

• Launch window delayed from September 2026 to December 2026, described as not expected to move further.
• Season Pass 2 refunds are available on Steam for owners who wish to reconsider. Requesting one removes both Processional of the Damned and The Infinite Museion from the account and breaks any saves made with Infinite Museion content active.
• Players who refund but wish to preserve an Infinite Museion save must repurchase that DLC separately.
• The Appearance Pack bundled in Season Pass 2 will be made free and folded into the base game for all players. This change is noted as arriving slightly later on platforms other than Steam, and will not affect saves.

The studio frames the delay as a deliberate choice — better to be late than to ship something unfinished — but acknowledges it may disrupt plans for players who intended to replay the game with all content available at once.

For Season Pass 2 holders weighing their options, the refund path exists, but it carries real consequences for existing save files.
