STALZONE Patch Rebalances Electrostorm Event and Adds Typhoon Scout Supplies
A September 2026 update tightens Forge-11's player density, recalibrates artifact economies, and introduces a new supply pack for Typhoon scout operatives.
The September 9, 2026 patch for STALZONE, authored by Morty, centers on a significant rebalance of the Electrostorm event and its Forge-11 instance, alongside a handful of bug fixes and a new cosmetic/supply offering.
What changed
Electrostorm & Forge-11 rebalance
- The maximum number of players per Forge-11 instance has been reduced.
- Three Lightning Rods are now active simultaneously during Electrostorm, up from an implied lower number.
- The mutant-kill requirement for the Destroy Mutants task drops from 500 to 300.
- Artifact spawns after eruptions are reduced by 28%, scaled to the lower player count.
- Snares and Mug now share the same post-eruption drop chance as Larva, Black Hole, and Timber.
- Lightning Rod artifact rarity chances are reduced to offset the third Rod, though total artifact output from Rods increases overall.
- Spawn chances for a named list of artifacts generated by Lightning Rods have been specifically reduced: Dumbbell, Amberite, Frame, Bracelet, Steel Hedgehog, Scrubber, Snake Eye, Polyhedron, Gum, Helium, Transformer, Mirror, Spiral, Shard, Atom, Prism, Sun, Radiator, and Viburnum Branch.
Bug fixes
- The Internal artifact could incorrectly drop from the ZIVCAS Raid event — fixed.
- Zombie, ZIVCAS, and Mutant events failed to spawn in some Forge-11 instances — fixed.
- Event tooltip reward icons displayed incorrectly — fixed.
- A timer element issue related to Lightning Rod and Chronor has been addressed (note: source text is truncated here).
- The Burrow at Forge-11's center now routes to a player's faction base.
- Season Pass progress points are now displayed.
New content
- The Typhoon Scout Supply pack has been added, described as containing survival essentials suited to Zone conditions.
The Forge-11 changes collectively shift the event toward smaller, denser groups with more frequent but less extraordinary artifact rewards — a deliberate effort to recalibrate the event's economy.
