A focused update extends the app's memo system into every node editor while fixing a multi-select copy bug that silently discarded work.

Textvas, a writing and flowchart tool on Steam, received update v1.0.4.3 on 25 August 2026. The release, authored by typocraft, is built around one central expansion: memos — previously a Board-only feature — now exist inside all three node editors.

What changed

New features

  • Right-clicking the background or pressing M in the Dialog, Node Graph, and Flowchart editors now creates a memo.
  • Memos support moving, resizing, collapsing, renaming, multi-selecting, copy/paste, and Ctrl+F search — matching Board memo behaviour.
  • Memos are saved with the file. A directional restriction applies: a memo can connect to a node, but a node cannot connect back to a memo.
  • Memo outline and title bar colour can now be changed via right-click; memos inside a node editor inherit the node's colour.

Improvements

  • Collapsed memos now narrow to fit their heading; expanding restores the original width.
  • Control buttons (▼▲, +, ✕) display faintly by default and colour on hover, consistent with node buttons.
  • Selection dashes now follow rounded corners on both memos and nodes.

Bug fixes

  • Copying multiple selected items in Dialog and Node Graph editors previously duplicated only one; all selected nodes, memos, and fully contained connection lines are now preserved together.
  • Toggling checkbox display no longer accumulates blank lines.
  • Timestamp backup folders are no longer incorrectly created when a filename ends with a half-width space or period.
  • Right-click → "Wrap" options (15/25/40/50) received a fix (source text truncated before full description).

For anyone using node editors heavily, the multi-select copy fix alone makes this a meaningful update to apply.
