The Old West Weapon Pack, published September 15, 2026, extends theHunter: Call of the Wild with three historically styled firearms, each running on black-powder ammunition and covering distinct class ranges.

What's in the pack

  • Hween .45-90 Buffalo — A falling-block rifle built for short-to-middle ranges. Covers classes 4–9, accepts .45-90 Lead Flat Nose or .45-90 Soft Lead black powder rounds, and is compatible with the Flavus 6x17 and 10x17 Rifle Telescopes. Its adaptive dual-mode Buckhorn sight rewards precise, deliberate shooting.
  • Humphrey 10G Coach Gun — A double-barreled 10-gauge shotgun that fires heavy brass black-powder shells. Class coverage shifts between 1–2, 4–7, or 6–9 depending on ammunition: Birdshot, Buckshot, or Slug. Dense muzzle smoke and unpredictable pellet scatter make it a close-quarters choice.
  • Maijo .44-40 Special — A break-open revolver whose internal automatic extractor ejects all six spent casings simultaneously. Covers classes 2–5 and chambers either .44-40 Full Metal Jacket or .44-40 Black Powder Cowboy Load. Handling speed is prioritized over raw stopping power.

All three weapons become available in the in-game store upon purchase. The pack is priced at $4.99 and sold across Steam, Xbox, Microsoft Store, PlayStation, and Epic Games Store.

For players who favor slower, methodical hunts, the pack offers a cohesive period-authentic loadout that spans most animal classes without touching modern ballistics.
