Void Future: Hacking Protocol Patch 1.0.1 Clears Blockers and Rough Edges

Void Future: Hacking Protocol has received its first patch since launch, with developer rvlinteractive targeting a broad sweep of bugs reported by the community across gameplay, interface, audio, visuals, and localization.

Gameplay

• Fixed several progression blockers that could prevent players from completing specific missions or chapters
• Clarified objectives in the "Evading Detection" hacking minigame
• Fixed a hacking minigame that could become unresponsive
• Fixed hot dog purchases failing to correctly deduct Crypto
• Prevented multiple eating animations from triggering simultaneously

User Interface

• Fixed incorrect gate status indicators after unlocking doors
• Fixed scanner UI alignment and menu scaling on ultrawide and high-resolution displays
• Removed a "Lorem Ipsum" placeholder objective text visible in one section
• Added missing item pickup notifications
• Fixed missing objective text and interaction names across multiple chapters

Audio

• Fixed a bug that could reset music volume settings after collecting an Audio CD
• Corrected music playback behavior in Chapter 6

Visuals & Level Design

• Improved lighting in several areas
• Fixed missing geometry, visual holes, LOD popping, and out-of-bounds visibility
• Added missing NPC collisions
• Fixed weather inconsistencies in Chapter 3

Localization

• Improved English and Polish localization, including text formatting, clipping, and translation fixes
