White Knuckle Beta 0.60g: Rapier Fixes, Rho Stone Overhaul, Perk Readability Pass

White Knuckle's Beta 0.60g, published 10 July 2026 and authored by Holly, arrives as a hotfix carrying a notable sweep of quality-of-life revisions across items, perks, and input handling.

What changed

Items

• The pocket button is now buffered during sidearm shooting and reloading (Handgun, Flaregun, Cryogun), triggering the pocket action on the first available frame. The Handgun can also be pocketed instantly before magazine ejection, cancelling the reload.
• A Rho Stone and accompanying note have been added to Interlude: Evacuation (normal mode only). Rho Stones now grant damage reduction and knockback resistance, briefly slow time on shattering, become less common deeper into endless runs, and are no longer affected by metabolic stasis.
• The Rapier can now be pocketed. Double-Rapier pogo interaction has been improved. The Rapier no longer pogos off most interactables when looking upward, and pogo hit detection on ground surfaces has been made more reliable.

Perks

• Unstoppable Conviction displays a temporary jump counter on its icon and description.
• Carnal Bloodlust now adds melee damage, tracks only kills since the perk was picked up, and shows accumulated kill count and current buff total.
• Profit Motive reduces its roach bonus to 3% per roach, becomes stackable up to five times, and now displays roach inventory count and exact movement buff.
• Motherly Instinct raises the pet-grub buff from 10 to 12 seconds and shows grub count and exact movement buff.
• Adhesive Perspiration is now stackable, each stack adding 0.5 seconds of sticky-climb time.
• Autotomous Skeleton shows a cooldown on its perk icon tied to the earliest available hand.
• Timed unstable perks now display their exact time remaining.

Taken together, the update's clearest theme is transparency — players gain concrete numbers and visual feedback where guesswork previously reigned.
