Core Keeper Soundtrack Gains Two Unreleased Tracks in June Update
The June 2026 community update for Core Keeper carries one genuinely tangible change for players: the game's Steam soundtrack has been updated to include two previously unreleased concept tracks.
What changed
- Two new tracks — "Mining Droplets" and "Nature Nuance" — have been added to the original soundtrack on Steam.
- Both were composed by Fredrik Präntare, described as predating the team's later work with Jonathan Geer.
- Players who already own the standalone soundtrack or the Explorer's Edition (which bundles the soundtrack) can access the tracks by updating their files through the Steam library — no additional purchase required.
Beyond the soundtrack addition, the update is largely a community roundup: a tips video highlighting the resizeable tool areas mechanic for equipment such as shovels, hoes, and the roofing tool; a poll on cattle colour preferences (the original purple Moolin remains a community favourite); and a lighthearted thread asking players what a Heart Berry might taste like.
For soundtrack owners, the update is a straightforward library refresh — two pieces of the game's musical development that had not previously been released, now available through an existing entitlement.
