Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit Launches on Steam with New Island, Bears, and Polish
SpryFox's follow-up to Cozy Grove is now available on Steam, bringing a new island, new bears to befriend, seasonal events, and a powerwashing activity, among other additions the announcement leaves as surprises.
What changed
Beyond the new content, the studio addressed longstanding community feedback with a focused round of polish:
- Performance improvements aimed at players who heavily decorate their home and island
- HUD and UI refinements, plus improved visual feedback on the hidden object minigame
- New animal companions with skills designed to reduce the repetitiveness of recurring activities
- Imps — a fan-favorite from the original — have received new animations and accessories
For launch week, Camp Spirit carries a 10% discount. A bundle pairing it with the original Cozy Grove and its New Neighbears DLC is also available at a discount, though specific pricing figures are not detailed in the announcement.
One gap worth noting: Simplified and Traditional Chinese localizations are not yet present at launch. The studio states it expects them ready no later than the end of August and is working to deliver them sooner, citing a desire to perform thorough translation QA rather than rush the release.
An additional update covering the new localization and further quality-of-life adjustments is planned for the coming weeks. For returning players, the sequel represents a direct response to the community that kept the original alive.
