Cozy Marbles 1.0.0.8 Adds Track Pieces and Fixes Corrupted Save Bug
Pixel Pea Games has released Update 1.0.0.8 for Cozy Marbles, a patch that splits its attention evenly between new construction options and overdue fixes.
What changed
New track pieces
- Vertical Speed Booster
- Flat Wide (4×4)
- Flat Medium (2×2)
Quality-of-life improvements
- A toggle to hide marble names during a race
- Arrow keys and new Up/Down buttons as alternatives to the previous Shift+mouse method for adjusting object height
- Marble Dispensers now support longer interval settings, up to 15 seconds
- A button to dismiss the Welcoming UI panel on the Main Menu
Bug fixes
- A critical bug that prevented the game from starting when save files were corrupted has been resolved — the developer notes this was likely the cause for players who saw the supporter pack UI at launch but could not proceed
- Marble physics no longer slow down when Max FPS is set to 30
- Steam Achievements should now unlock more reliably for some players
The save-file fix is the most consequential change here: players who found themselves locked out of the game entirely should be unblocked with this update.
